Both are beautiful in their ways. There is time you want to see the castle and there is time you want to see the hip :)

To me, there are some kinds of ''good''. If we say it is good, we have to specify good for what or good to do what in order not to confuse or to make others confuse.
So I would say the Hip has more ''good'' than the Himeji Castle does because the castle may be only good to visit while the hip is exactly good to all, visit, observe, touch, feel, study on and so on :) Interesting...is ur topic, nisshi!

If compare both, of course i like the Hip!
but i didn't write comment of minahara's contribute. because it was't my favorite Hip.
